Description of the event
Multi-day business meeting with livestream shares from a Hamburg-based international sports rights marketer with a worldwide network of corporate locations and subsidiaries. Four group work areas of attractive design furniture and a plenum situation were set up in the event studio. The group work sessions were conducted as live conferences with additional participants at various locations around the world. The plenary presentations were also broadcast live via stream.

Implementation of the Corona regulations
Seating was set up throughout in compliance with the spacing rules in force at the time of the event: a maximum of 10 people within a work/seating group in the plenum with at least 1.50m distance to the next work/seating group. Good ventilation throughout: the location has a large terrace and opening French doors as well as an exhaust air system. Conference catering was provided as a live cooking buffet: fancy appetizer/snack variations were served as individual portions in closed jars and served directly. Buffet staff arranged the hot components as requested by the guests as a plate dish and also served them with cutlery.

Description of the event
Classic topping-out ceremony for the two new Marriott buildings in Tasköprüstrasse: welcome with welcome drink, topping-out speech, followed by barbecue buffet in accordance with hygiene concept.

Implementation of the Corona regulations
The Corona Protection Ordinance in force at the time of the event allowed events in the open air or in tents with permanent ventilation and without fixed seating for up to 100 guests and no self-service buffets. Accordingly, the company, along with buffet stations, was spread over two areas of the shell (no closed walls/windows yet, so permanent ventilation as in a tent). Reception drinks were served directly to the guests by our staff. The topping-out speech was held on one of the two areas and transmitted to the other area via sound and video technology. The dishes of the barbecue buffet were arranged by our employees at the buffet behind acrylic protective walls according to the wishes of the guests as a plate dish and served together with the cutlery. We used beer tent sets with seating for up to 8 people (up to 10 at one table is permitted by the regulations) and placed them at the prescribed distance of 1.50 m from each other. In the topping-out speech, it was additionally requested that the applicable spacing regulations also be observed when standing.

The high number of participants, which was then distributed over two independent areas.

Description of the event
“How can Germany make the energy transition a success? How can an energy supply that is largely based on renewables be ensured for the entire country in an environmentally acceptable, secure and economically efficient manner? These are questions that the five model regions which receive funding under the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy’s “Smart Energy Showcases – Digital Agenda for the Energy Transition” programme (SINTEG) seek to answer, with a special focused being placed on digital solutions.

After four years, the SINTEG support programme comes to a successful end. Experts from all over Germany have developed and tested solutions for the energy system of the future and the digitisation of the energy sector in five model regions. Transferable blueprints have been developed for many of the challenges that an energy supply with a high proportion of renewable energies entails. The recommendations of the SINTEG experts will be incorporated by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy into the further development of the regulatory framework.
In addition to exciting and informative keynotes and panel discussions, the viewers had the opportunity to choose from four different virtual breakout sessions in a total of five blocks in the livestream and to participate interactively in the programme items, e.g. via chat.

In addition to all background information and the agenda, a poster exhibition and the possibility of networking between the participants were available on the virtual event platform.

Implementation of the Corona regulations
“Due to the restrictions on guest events in Hamburg at the time of the event, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy decided to hold the event mostly virtually and not to welcome guests on site. Only the technical crew, some protagonists, the location staff and the event agency Vagedes & Schmid were physically present.

Vagedes & Schmid created a comprehensive protection and hygiene concept which was adapted to Hamburg’s regulations. Among other things, it was specified that a mouth-and-nose cover was to be worn within the location and that a minimum distance of 1.5 metres was to be maintained at all times and that regular hand washing and disinfection was to be considered. Extensive information material prepared all those involved for the hygiene and safety measures prevailing on site.
In the dome itself, catering was filled and dispensed by staff, the stations were each equipped with spit guards and distance markings helped the crew to maintain the minimum distance to each other.”

Implementation of the Corona regulations
The entire event was designed so that all activities could take place outside and with sufficient distance.
The Corona rules applicable to the event (e.g. max. 10 people per table, incl. keeping a list) were implemented by all participants.

In addition, each one received a short version of the 40-page Corona regulations of the City of Hamburg in advance and submitted a self-declaration. In addition, daily temperature checks were carried out.
